Job description
Xilinx is seeking a design engineer to validate next-generation FPGAs. The individual will work with the team to provide hardware prototyping and emulation systems to validate new silicon features at a system-level. The individual will find and drive resolution of bugs in the silicon design, IP, tools, and other parts of the complete solution. The individual will review next-generation product specifications and develop novel methods for system-level modeling and verification.
Responsibilities: FPGA implementation, FPGA prototyping, system-level debug, simulation, and scripting/automation.
- BS or MS in ECE/EE/CE with 1-3 years of experience.
- Good knowledge of Verilog or VHDL and simulation.
- Knowledge of C or C++.
- Perform pre-silicon and post-silicon validation.
- Good communication skills and methodical working practices.
- Understanding of requirements for system-level design and verification processes.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have one or more of the following:
- Familiarity with Xilinx FPGAs.
- Knowledge of Embedded Systems and processor architecture.
- Knowledge of Vivado tools
- Knowledge of SD, QSPI, USB, Ethernet, TCP/IP protocols, PCI Express.
- Familiarity with scripting languages: Shell, Perl, Tcl.
